These terms and conditions explain the policies of Car X Mobile Detailing. By using our services, you agree to follow these rules.
We aim to make your detailing experience as easy and stress-free as possible. Your vehicle and using the best detailing techniques are our top priority. We will not do any service that could harm or damage your vehicle.
Before we start detailing your vehicle, you, the owner, must inform us about any cosmetic or mechanical issues that may stop us from completing the detail. These issues could include things like a dead battery, a trunk that won’t open, windows that don’t roll down, etc.
If there is any health or safety concern with your vehicle, please let us know. If your car contains harmful substances (like needles, drugs, or gasoline), you must inform your technician before we start the service. You will be responsible for any health or safety issues that come from your vehicle.
If we arrive and are unable to detail your vehicle (for any reason, including if you’re not present), you will still be charged the full amount of the scheduled service.
Car X Mobile Detailing reserves the right to refuse service if necessary.
Appointments
We will do our best to arrive at your scheduled appointment time. However, sometimes things may happen that cause delays. Your safety is our priority, so we won’t rush to meet a schedule. If there’s a delay, we’ll contact you and let you know the new arrival time.
Pricing depends on the size of the vehicle, the package chosen, and its condition. Additional charges may apply for things like heavy stains, pet hair, extra debris, personal items that need to be removed, or steam cleaning if it takes extra time.
Property Damage
You agree to protect and hold Car X Mobile Detailing, its owners, employees, and affiliates harmless from any damage, loss, costs, claims, or liabilities (including attorney’s fees) that may come up during our services. This includes any property damage to your own or neighbors' property. We understand that the mobile nature of our service may carry extra risks, and by using our service, you accept these risks.
Car X Mobile Detailing will not remove or install car seats or custom equipment from your vehicle. If you want to have the area under your car seat cleaned, please remove the seat before the appointment.
We also will not remove or install custom equipment such as seat covers, subwoofers, light bars, pet protectors, or bumper stickers. If you want these areas cleaned, please remove them before we arrive.
Appointment Changes & Cancellations
We require 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment. A hold for the full amount of your scheduled appointment will be placed on the provided credit/debit card 24 hours prior to your appointment.
An appointment is defined as one (1) scheduled car. Bookings with multiple cars will be subject to multiple cancellation fees (i.e., a $500 booking with 5 appointments at $100 each canceled after the approved timeframe can be subject to a $250 cancellation fee).
If you wish to change your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, you will have the following 3 options:

Reschedule your appointment at no additional cost to you. Though you will be charged for your appointment at the time of rescheduling, you may pick another day and time for Car X Mobile Detailing to perform the detail.

Cancel your appointment with a $50.00 charge. The hold will be released on your card, and you will be charged $50.00 on the same card for canceling within 24 hours. This option is valid up to six (6) hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than six (6) hours' notice are only given options 1 or 3. An appointment is not considered canceled until the customer has canceled the appointment via the online system or confirmed the cancellation via a Car X Mobile Detailing representative.

Convert your scheduled appointment to a gift card. If circumstances have changed (i.e., you sold your car and no longer have it), you may convert the full amount of your scheduled appointment to a gift card for later personal use or to give as a gift. Car X Mobile Detailing reserves the right to withdraw this option for fleet vehicle/business vehicle bookings.
Any booking/appointment with a value of $400.00 or more will require 48 hours' notice to change or cancel. Cancellations of these appointments are subject to being charged the full amount without proper 48-hour notice due to the amount of time reserved for a single customer.
Payment
We accept cash and credit cards. Payment is due at the completion of the detail. If payment was made online, your card will not be charged until after completion. There will be a $30.00 charge for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF).
Photographs and Video
We have your permission to take pictures or videos of your vehicle for marketing purposes. These will never be sold or given to third parties.
Damage/Accidents
Reimbursement will not be paid for any minor cosmetic damage as a result of detailing your vehicle.
Reimbursement will be paid for any major damage caused to your vehicle as a result of our employee’s gross negligence or willful misconduct. Car X Mobile Detailing will approve the body shop and/or vendors before issuing any reimbursement.
If something arises after the detail that was not noticed during the final walkaround, you must contact us within 24 hours and, if needed, schedule a touch-up detail within 5 days.
Each customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Car X Mobile Detailing, its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs, including attorney’s fees, resulting from any service provided or injury after our services have been completed.
